Fragrance Composition:
So what does it smell like? It is classified as a vibrant woody mossy chypre fragrance for women. It was described as "crisp and refreshing as Autumn itself, with mossy and leafy notes to give it a crisp cold snap zest. Meant to lift your spirits at falling leaf time Is fragrance that combines flower scents with woody notes with the richness of an Indian Summer."
- Top notes: Calabrian bergamot, galbanum, honey, lavender
- Middle notes: rose, jasmine, patchouli, labdanum
- Base notes: Tibetan musk, East Indian vetiver, Mysore sandalwood, cedar, oakmoss, Abyssinian ambergris
Bottles:
Packaged in the lovely sceptre and crystal clear crown flacons. The identifying package symbol is golden oak leaves.

Fate of the Fragrance:
Discontinued, date unknown. Still being sold in 1967.

If I close my eyes and think of those moments just after putting on Golden Autumn, I'm 17 again and it's fall. If I ever smelled it again I think my heart would ache...but it would be worth it. It was truly Autumn in a bottle. The best Autumns of my life.
